FACTS

With over 50 years combined experience working with birds founder Alyssa Collins and David Kanellis have dedicated their lives to the conservation of birds of prey and the environment from which they come.


David Kanellis
has over 27 years licensed experience working with birds of prey. From an early age, David had a fascination about birds of prey that has since turned into a lifelong passion. Over the years he has trained and supplied countless birds to licensed zoos, falconers, and educators. David has a gift of understanding and training birds of prey.


Alyssa Collins is a licensed raptor educator and falconer and has been professionally involved in avian training/ husbandry for eight years. Her life passion is birds and the strong bonds she forms with them. Experience includes caring for anywhere from 1 to 100 feathered friends continuously since age 6. She graduated with honors and received her Masters in Education from Northern Arizona University and her Bachelors in Speech Communication. She has been professionally trained and certified by Natural Encounters Inc. in three different operant conditioning training courses led by Steve Martin president and founder of Natural Encounters Inc.
